Shri Narendra Kumar joined this UT Administration of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli on 7^th March,2011 as Administrator. He is responsible for taking policy decisions, overall supervision and monitoring of Plan & Non-Plan Budget & Expenditure monitoring development activities and mobilization of tax and non-tax revenue etc. Administrator is also functioning as Secretary(Home/Personnel/Vigilance/Urban Development/Tourism/Information & Publicity). He is Chief Vigilance Officer for both the UTs. He is Chairman of Omnibus Industrial Development Corporation and SC/ST OBC & Minority Financial Development Corporation.

              Prior to his posting in the UT of Daman & Diu and DNH, he was holding various important postings in the Government of NCT of Delhi, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Ministry of Home Affairs. Govt. of Pondicherry, Govt. of Goa as under:-

1. OSD to Chief Minister, Delhi - 1999 to 2001.
2. Secretary & Commissioner Labour & Employment, Delhi - 2001 & again in 2004-05.
3. Excise Commissioner, Delhi during 2002.
4. PS to Minister of State for Communication and IT, Delhi - 2003-04.
5. Development Commissioner & Divisional Commissioner, Delhi - 2006.
6. Secretary & Commissioner Industries, Delhi - 2006-08.
7. Secretary Industries & Commerce, Environment & Forests and ex-officio Chairman of Pondicherry Pollution Control Committee..
8. Development Commissioner, Govt. of Goa and Secretary to Governor of Goa from 01/06/2008 to 04/03/2011
